An H.323 aperture is an endpoint on the LAN that provides real-time communications
between H.323 terminals on the LAN and added ITU terminals on a WAN or to other
H.323 gateways.
Gateways acquiesce H.323 terminals to acquaint with accessories that are active added protocols.
They accommodate agreement about-face amid the accessories that are active different
types of protocols. Ideally, the aperture is cellophane to both the H.323 endpoint and
the non-H.323 endpoint
An H.323 aperture performs these services:
