Supported PIX Firewall Hardware
and Software Versions
The PDM appliance is new as of PIX firewall software adaptation 6.0 and replaces
the PFM software. PDM versions 2.0 and 2.1 crave PIX software adaptation 6.2.
For versions 6.0 and 6.1 of PIX firewall, you charge use PDM adaptation 1.1. If you
are application the Firewall Services Module (FWSM) adaptation 1.1 on a Catalyst 6500
series switch, you charge a minimum of adaptation 2.1 of PDM.
