Configuration Replication
Configuration archetype is the action by which the agreement from the primary
PIX firewall is replicated to the accessory firewall.When the replication
process begins, a “Sync started” bulletin is displayed on the console, and similarly,
when archetype completes, a “Sync complete” bulletin is displayed on the

console.The archetype action occurs from anamnesis to anamnesis (runningconfig
to running-config) alone and is not adored in flash.Therefore, afterwards replication

and standby firewalls.
The archetype action is automatically performed when:
The standby PIX completes antecedent bootup.The primary firewall
replicates its absolute agreement to the accessory firewall.
Commands are typed in on the alive PIX firewall. As anniversary command is

failover connection.
The address standby command is accomplished on the alive PIX firewall.This
forces the absolute agreement to be replicated from the primary PIX
firewall to the standby.
Any agreement changes fabricated on the standby firewall are not replicated to
the primary. If you try to access commands on the standby firewall, the PIX will
