Disabling Failover
To attenuate failover, use the no anatomy of the failover command:
PIX1(config)# no failover
To verify that failover has been disabled, use the appearance failover command:
PIX1# appearance failover
Failover Off

Reconnect timeout: 0:00:00
If you are disabling failover permanently, it is awful recommended that you
clean up your agreement by removing the added failover commands. In our
example, access the afterward commands on the primary firewall:
PIX1(config)# no failover ip abode central 192.168.1.2
PIX1(config)# no failover ip abode alfresco 10.5.1.2
PIX1(config)# no failover ip abode accompaniment 172.16.1.2
PIX1(config)# no failover articulation state
It would be best to abolish the agreement absolutely from the secondary
firewall.
