Configuring the Hostname and Area Name
The acceptance starts with defining the firewall’s hostname and area name,
which will be acclimated in its affidavit later. As discussed in Chapter 2, the commands
to configure these are:
hostname
domain-name
In our example, we charge to access the afterward commands:
PIX1(config)# hostname PIX1
PIX1(config)# domain-name securecorp.com
PIX2(config)# hostname PIX2
PIX2(config)# domain-name securecorp.com
