Flowchart for Verifying and Modifying AutoQoS-Generated Configurations
AutoQoS was developed to help automate QoS configuration for common scenarios. The configuration that AutoQoS generates may not be suitable for your network. The flowchart in Figure 5-1 shows some possible paths that you might follow in using AutoQoS and verifying its auto-generated commands, as well as steps to modifying the command, if necessary.

The procedure can be summarized into three steps:
| STEP 1. | Review the existing QoS policy, identify new requirements, and outline the modifications necessary. |
| STEP 2. | Modify the AutoQoS-generated configuration according to new requirements identified in Step 1. |
| STEP 3. | Review the new (modified) configuration. |
