Using Weighted

Random Early Detection
Random Early Detection (RED) can be used as a congestion avoidance mechanism
to prevent congestion problems at bandwidth bottlenecks on networks.
Weighted Random Early Detection (WRED) is the Cisco implementation of
RED that combines the RED algorithm with weighting determined by IP
precedence levels. This effectively gives higher precedence traffic lower drop rates
and thus priority over lower precedence traffic in the network.
