Assign Policies for Each Class

Step 3: Assign Policies for Each Class
You can assign five policies, or domains, to traffic classes within a policy map. The five
policies are as follows:
■ police—Allows rate limiting of matched traffic flows.
■ inspect—Allows protocol inspection services on the matched traffic flows.
■ priority—Allows strict scheduling priority for matched traffic flows.
■ Intrusion Protection Services (IPS)—Allows IPS for all traffic flows that have been
matched.
■ TCP normalization—Allows the limiting of TCP and UDP connections, as well as
embryonic connections.
You can assign more than one domain to a traffic class, allowing inspection, policing, or any
of the other three policy types on a single traffic flow
