Configuring Priority Queuing (PQ)

Figure 4-1 shows a flowchart for the configuration that follows, which shows how to configure priority queuing.

Priority queuing is configured using these steps:

STEP 1.	Globally define the classification methods.
STEP 2.	Assign traffic for individual queues.
STEP 3.	Optionally establish the packet limit for each queue.
STEP 4.	Apply the priority queuing list to an interface.
STEP 5.	Verify your configuration.
