You can use the following steps to configure QSIG support for BRI:
Step 1. Enter BRI interface configuration mode for the specified BRI interface.
Step 2. Configure Layer 1 port mode emulation and clock status for the user—that
is, the TE.
Step 3. Enable routing of incoming voice calls.
Step 4. This step varies based on whether you are configuring the BRI interface to act
as a user side device or a network side device.
(User side only) Configure Layer 2 and Layer 3 port mode emulation and
clock status for the user—that is, the TE.
or
(Network side only) Configure Layer 2 and Layer 3 port mode emulation
and clock status for the network—that is, the NT.
