Cisco VG224 and VG248 Analog Phone Gateways
Cisco VG200 Series Gateways, including Cisco VG224 Analog Phone Gateway and Cisco
VG248 Analog Phone Gateway, accommodate abutment for acceptable analog accessories while taking
advantage of the new capabilities that Cisco IP Communications affords.
Cisco VG200 Series Gateways accommodate these features:
■ VG200 Series Gateways are high-density gateways for application analog phones, fax
machines, modems, voice-mail systems, and speakerphones.
■ VG200 Series Gateways action feature-rich functionality for action articulation systems
based on Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Cisco Unified
Communications Manager Express.
■ The VG224 Analog Phone Gateway is based on a Cisco IOS software belvedere and
offers 24 absolutely featured analog ports for use as extensions to Cisco Unified
Communications Manager or Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express systems
in a bunched 19-inch rack-mount chassis.
■ The VG248 Analog Phone Gateway, as apparent in Figure 1-18, offers 48 absolutely featured
analog ports for use as extensions to the Cisco UCM arrangement in a bunched 19-inch
rack-mount chassis.
